J’adore, the mythical Dior fragrance

J’adore, the mythical Dior fragrance, now brilliantly embellishes the most precious of metals. François Demachy, perfumer-creator for Dior, delved into the heart of the fragrance to express its quintessence and create the Essence de Parfum.
This new fragrance delightfully slips into the original golden bath again and returns to the creation of the perfumed myth eternally linked to gold.

Inspired by J’adore, François Demachy created the fragrance like this precious metal: from the selection of the raw materials to the composition, texture and color of the essence.

The highly concentrated new fragrance is an Essence de Parfum, in the sense of all that is essential. While the most beautiful fabrics have been used in profusion in Dior Couture since the New Look, the most beautiful materials are now used for J’adore L’Or. Due to its exceptional concentration, the unique texture of the fragrance creates a satiny and silky feel on the skin. Even more intense in colour, this sensuous nectar is closer to that of gold.

The most precious raw materials find their harmonious place in J’adore L’Or. Always in search of the most noble of ingredients, François Demachy, the expert who ensures the quality of Dior fragrances, has selected a Rose de Mai Absolute (Centifolia) and a Jasmine Absolute (Grandiflorum), both collected from harvests in the fields of Grasse.

Exclusively reserved for the Dior House and used in the creation of J’adore L’Or, the production of Le Domaine de Manon has been managed by a single family for 3 generations. This Grasse estate has maintained the traditions of quality cultivation, respecting the land and gathering the Jasmine and Rose flowers by hand.

The floral bouquet, enhanced by Rose de Mai and Jasmine from Grasse, is touched with oriental notes to add precious opulence to the fragrance.

The sweet, smooth character of Tonka Bean Absolute and the tender sensuousness of Tahiti Vanilla Absolute blossom in the base notes. Patchouli, drops of Labdanum and amber notes give an oriental feel to the fragrance, providing it with “more thickness”, as François Demachy explains. A refined, rich and even more precious J’adore steeped in wonderful authenticity.

This Essence de Parfum brilliantly completes the olfactory collection of J’adore, the great classic of the House of Dior.

While the form of the bottle upholds the emblematic imprint of J’adore, the denser amphora shape majestically reigns on a base weighted with precious glass. The glass stopper is enhanced and raised to accentuate the preciousness of the profile.

The Maasai necklace inspiration, created by John Galliano, is reinterpreted by the Couturier’s hand for this new bottle.

A precious gold thread adorns the top and inscribes the signature of the legendary bottle.
