Lady Gaga her fragance in Barcelona

Lady Gaga, who has a pair of South Florida dates scheduled for next April, has just unveiled her long-awaited video for "Alejandro." Definitely a departure from the "Telephone" clip with Beyoncé, which featured a lot of things from Quintin Tarantino flicks (the Pussy Wagon, evil nurses) and those amazing smoking glasses!

Here, dudes in black leather doing angular dancing with military flourishes, a Narnia feel with the snow falling, a frozen heart (!), religious taboo-ery, and some platform shoes that will definitely strengthen Gaga's Achilles tendons. Haven't we seen this all in a cologne ad?

As plenty of folks have said before, the song itself sounds like Madonna. Is it a coincidence that this song and "Like a Prayer" both make liberal use of the phrase "call my name," eh?
