reminiscence_jammin_vibration-A.jpgFrench jewelry and perfume brand Reminiscence will launch a new fragrance from February 2011 called Jammin' Vibration, inspired by Bob Marley and the rhythms of reggae. The Eau de Toilette, described as fresh and woody floral, was composed by perfumers Maurice Roucel and Jean-Louis-Sieuzac together with brand owners Lilla and Nino Amaddeo. It is a flanker to Jammin' initially launched in 2006, which is still being sold in France and part of the niche offerings found at Sephora...

In a time when fragrance launches are sometimes short-lived, this is a perfume with a discreet image which manages to endure without much forced publicity.

The jus rests on several essential oils of bergamot, cardamom, Egyptian jasmine, patchouli, and vanilla which replay some of the main notes found in the original.

The pyramid of notes Jammin' Vibration is as follows:

Hesperidic or citrusy head notes of Florida grapefruit, blackcurrant bud, spicy cardamom from Ceylon, pink peppercorn from the Réunion.

The heart is woody with notes of cedarwood from Virginia, patchouli from Java, and floral with Egyptian jasmine, rose, and lily of the valley.

The base notes are gourmand with vanilla from Madagascar, tonka bean from Argentina, and musky with white musk.

Prices: 50 ml for 40€, 100 ml for 59€.
